Thanks to a subsidy from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, work on the gate building at Strzelecka Street is accelerating. The vault and walls surrounding the gate passage itself have been cleaned, completed and strengthened, waiting for grouting.
On the one hand, those who say that PLN 210,000 is a drop in the ocean of the monastery’s needs are right. It is a monumental building that first requires huge expenditure on construction work, and later will require equally much on conservation work. On the other hand, with good budget management, every PLN 100,000 allocated to reconstruction can produce amazing results.
