Yesterday, we met at the Pearl for a dual art exhibition and opera concert. Our guests had the opportunity to see Thinloth‘s “Ithil Taur,” which has been on display since the beginning of the year, and Devinez‘s “Wandering the Abysses,” which opened last Friday. Both exhibitions will remain with us until the end of the 2026 cultural season, so anyone who hasn’t seen them yet has the opportunity to catch up every Sunday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and during events.
Yesterday’s concert provided such an opportunity. Opera classics, directed by Eleni Müller, president of the Ars Augusta Association. This time, the concert was prepared with a grant to Ars Augusta from the German-Polish Foundation for the Preservation of Cultural Monuments, together with their Polish branch, OP ENHEIM. Fans of Mozart, Verdi and opera could enjoy music performed by great singers and a pianist for over an hour in the interior of the Pearl – created for culture.
The Pearl has hosted wonderful artists on its stage: Paulina Bielarczyk – soprano, Anna Grycan – mezzo-soprano, Roberto Jachini Virgili – tenor, Mikołaj Bońkowski – bass baritone, and Levi Fuchs at the piano. You probably remember Mikołaj and his powerful voice from his excellent performance in Pergolesi’s opera “Serva Padrona” which you could see in the Pearl during the 2023 season.
Every event in the Pearl is a celebration of you – our wonderful Pearl Audience! Our partners probably didn’t expect such a large turnout, but it’s a lesson learned. Thank you for your understanding, your presence, and the wonderful time we spent together.
