From the Monastery of Souls to the third stage of the 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition!
Yehuda Prokopowicz is one of three Poles who qualified for the next stage of the competition. Only twenty of the most outstanding pianists remain in the piano competition, and Yehuda Prokopowicz, who is currently enchanting the audience and competition jurors, opened the cultural life of our monastery at the end of September with his recital of Chopin’s works.

– The concert at the Monastery took place as part of the “Chopin en Vacances 2025” festival, run and organised by the “Ziemia Dobrzyńska” foundation with funds from the Polish National Institute of Music and Dance, at the invitation of the “Twoje Dziedzictwo” Foundation (the Foundation’s own funds), and with event logistics support from the City and Commune of Nowogrodziec.
