As every year, the Temple of Art and Light: The Pearl was the official location of the international PixelMania event. Its extraordinary space made the Bolesławiec commune, and more precisely tiny Żeliszów, swarm with extraordinary people from all over the world. 
From Friday to Sunday, dozens of cars with license plates from various countries stopped at the Pearl. Cosplay photographers and the most talented cosplayers, who had undergone a rigorous selection process for the event, were almost constantly working on their projects inside the Pearl.
Characters from games, films, comics and books entered and exited through the gates of the Pearl – winged, pointy-eared, horned or multi-tailed, delicate or terrifying, full of light and sometimes of darkness. During these few days, Żeliszów became a place from a fairy tale. 
Once again, the Pearl made the region famous all over the world thanks to the photos taken inside it.
