Last weekend, a great cosplay event (hosted by the Lubomierz Commune and City Hall) – “PixelMania 2k24”, attracting participants from dozens of countries around the world, was hosted in our beautiful fortified monastery! 
People from different parts of the world who visited Nowogrodziec during the three days of the event were delighted with the monastery and its photo potential. The team of the Your Heritage Foundation (Fundacja Twoje Dziedzictwo) and the Your Heritage Club showed the participants the most beautiful paths and rooms of the monastery, ensuring the safety of all those present.
Despite high competition – many historic and commercial, beautiful locations in the Jelenia Góra Valley have been participating in the event for years, the monastery charmed our guests so much that some of them moved their photo slots from other places to stay longer within our walls. The record holders spent a day and a half in the monastery, so actually half of the entire event. 
Characters from books, films, games and comics were accompanied at all times by a professional special effects team, increasing the shooting potential of the Monastery.
Soon, photos of the most popular fantasy characters taken in the Monastery will spread around the world, constituting an excellent advertisement for the entire Nowogrodziec. And we are already thinking about how to make next year’s event even more attractive and direct more participants to our charming city.
