We are very happy to announce that by virtue of a resolution of the Bolesławiec Commune Council, at the request of our Foundation, a beautiful, old lime tree growing among the old trees of the palace in Kruszyn has been protected as a natural monument!
The beautiful tree, with impressive dimensions of 513 centimetres in circumference and 23.8 meters in height, was named Nimloth. And thanks to the legal protections that have now been extended to her, she will avoid the fate of her namesake from the J.R.R. Tolkien universe and will delight for the next tens, and perhaps hundreds of years.
